About House of Joi
Our Story
House of Joi was founded by Joi Addison with a deep commitment to supporting individuals who are rebuilding their lives and working toward a fresh start. After witnessing the challenges many individuals face when transitioning back into the community, particularly the difficulty of finding safe and stable housing, Joi felt called to be part of the solution.
She recognized that without a supportive and structured environment, many people struggle to regain stability and move forward. This inspired her to create House of Joi, a place where adult men returning to the community, as well as those at risk of homelessness, can find stability, support, and a safe place to rebuild their lives.
House of Joi was built on the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to move forward with dignity, structure, and hope. By providing safe transitional housing and a compassionate environment, House of Joi aims to support successful reentry, promote stability, and help residents take meaningful steps toward independence and a brighter future.
